After a decade of vicissitudes, Mr. Carlos, our experienced export director and skilled engineer, set foot on the land of Uganda again and successfully installed two brand-new SWKD high-frequency vacuum wood drying kilns.

High Frequency-Vacuum Wood Dryer Kiln is Ten Years Old in Uganda!
Hebei Shuowei installed the Africa’s first high frequency-vacuum wood dryer kiln in Uganda in 2013. After ten years of wind and rain, high-frequency vacuum wood drying kiln is still firmly in the post of wood drying.
We seriously discussed the wood drying technology with their technical team and helped our old customer to improve the existing wood drying process, which was highly praised by our old friend!
Two New Kilns Installed in Uganda
After ten years, two new brand of high frequency-vacuum wood dryer kiln were delivered in Uganda.
This is time to install one set of SW-14.0III model high-frequency vacuum dryer kiln, the full capacity is 14.56 cubic meters per full load, the maximum wood size it can handle is 8 meters in long and 1.4 meters in wide. Another one is SW-4.0III model high frequency-vacuum wood dryer kiln, which can handle 4.4 cubic meters per full load, max length is 4 meters and 1.1 meters in wide.
After careful inspection, Mr. Carlos, who is very experienced, demonstrated his excellent skills and smoothly helped the customer to complete the installation of the equipment and patiently completed the operator training.
Drying Result in Uganda
Our customer uses our high frequency-vacuum wood dryer kiln to dry African Mvule, 160mm thick, freshly cut, with a moisture content of nearly 70%.
The thickness of the timber was extremely high and the drying difficulty was very high, which is undoubtedly a great challenge for traditional timber drying methods. However, with the high frequency vacuum wood drying kiln, the drying process can be completed in 15-20 days with high quality. The moisture content of the wood in the kiln reached 20-30% before we left Uganda, and another couple of days would have completed the drying completely. Our customer is very satisfied with the speed and quality of drying!
During this trip, friends from other countries and regions in Africa came to see the installation activities of the HF vacuum wood drying kiln. After a field visit to our machines, they were all pleasantly surprised by the superb performance of the HF Vacuum Wood Drying Kiln. Mr. Carlos exchanged experiences about wood drying technology with them, pointed out some existing problems and proposed solutions, which made the friends very satisfied.
