More Efficient Drying. Measurable Results.

A well-controlled drying process can help you shorten drying cycles, improve moisture consistency, and increase the productivity of your operation.

Up to 8–10X faster

High-frequency vacuum drying can significantly shorten drying cycles compared with conventional kiln drying, depending on wood species, thickness, initial moisture content, target moisture content, and process conditions.

Target MC: 6–12%

Controlled vacuum drying helps achieve target moisture content for further processing, furniture manufacturing, flooring, and other wood products.

Shorter drying cycles can increase kiln turnover and allow more wood to move through your production process.

Controlled low-temperature drying helps reduce drying stress and protect the quality of hardwood, slabs, and other valuable wood products.

Efficient operation and shorter drying cycles can help reduce the cost of processing each load and improve overall equipment utilization.

Built for Different Wood Processing Applications

From sawmills and lumber processing to live edge slabs, furniture, flooring, and specialty wood, Shuowei HF vacuum kilns can be configured for a wide range of wood drying applications.

Why Choose HF Vacuum Drying?

HF vacuum drying combines high-frequency heating with vacuum technology to heat wood internally while lowering the boiling point of water. This enables rapid moisture removal at controlled temperatures and helps reduce drying stress.

High-frequency energy heats the wood internally, helping moisture move from the inside of the wood toward the surface.

Vacuum reduces the boiling point of water, allowing moisture to evaporate at lower temperatures than under atmospheric pressure.

Temperature, vacuum, and drying parameters are controlled throughout the process to help achieve consistent moisture content while reducing excessive drying stress. Automated controls and easy-to-use drying programs help operators manage temperature, vacuum, and drying parameters throughout the process.

Automated controls and user-friendly drying programs simplify kiln operation and help operators manage the drying process with greater consistency.

Controlled heat treatment can help eliminate insects and pests present in wood during the drying process.
