SW Vacuum Wood Kiln VS Other Wood Dryer

  1. The heating way difference

No matter IDRY standard Series or IDRY turbo series, the heating principle belongs to. heating transfer, wood is heated from the surface to the core of the wood. For the thin-thickness wood, it is ok. But if thicker slabs, it will take a much longer time, and the problem is outside is dried the inside is still wet. it is needed stickers or heating plates to pile, the stickers and plates is kind of waste space. Especially for the turbo series, it is suitable for standard-size lumber with 1.2” thickness.

It can’t mix different thickness slabs in the same load, but high frequency heating is kind of directly heating, the principle is using wet wood as a capacitor, and making wood heating from core to surface, so for thick slabs, more than 5” thickness is no problem and mix different thickness is ok. There are no stickers between two pcs of wood slab, so the capacity is the actual real capacity
