Stable drying without defects
The wood is drying under vacuum conditions, it offers low boiling point of water at 35℃. Low temperature drying solves the problems of wood cracking, deformation and discoloration, especially for precious timber sensitive to temperature.
High quality drying result
High frequency vacuum wood dryer machine equipped with hydraulic pressure system on the top, the hydraulic pressure system supply more than 6 tons pressure on the wood stacking to prevent wood deformation and bending. And we use stainless steel 304 to make the pressure plate.
High Frequency Vacuum Drying Kiln Technology
High frequency is also called radio frequency, this technology is a kind of direct heating. The principle is using the wood as a medium, the wood acts as a capacitor. . When giving the two pieces of metal plate voltage, an electric field is created between them. Then water molecular in the wood and between electrodes will be polarized by the alternating magnetic field and move in very high speed rapidly. The impact and friction (billions of times per second) among water molecules creates heating in very short time.
Different from the conventional steam kilns or common vacuum kilns which are use hot air or heated plates to dry the wood from surface to core. High frequency power does not heat wood but makes moisture inside the wood heating themselves. It is a kind of directly heating, This continuous effect allows the wood heated from surface to core wholly and uniformly.
That is one of the reasons why the high frequency vacuum machine is 10 times faster than conventional wood drying kilns. The hardwood from 30% -40% moisture content to 8-10%MC only take 4 days and for the fresh cut wood it only takes 10-12 days to get 8-10% moisture content.
Our kiln also adopts vacuum dehydration technology. The stainless steel vacuum pump can drain out the air and the atmospheric pressure in the vacuum chamber can reach -0.093Mpa, which allows water to vaporize at a low temperature below 40℃, At the same time, vacuum can also suck the vapor out.
The machine water circulation system will condensate the vapors in the chamber, then drain them out.
Meanwhile Wood is drying under a vacuum wet and low temperature condition. It is nice to the wood and will ensure that the wood is no cracks and with nature color.
