Old Users Visit Series – 10 Years Users in Tanzania

Recently, I went to Tanzania to visit our old friend Michael, who bought our high-frequency wood drying kiln, which has been in use for 10 years!

When I shook hands with Michael, past memories surged in my mind. 10 years have passed, and we have changed significantly. But the warmth between friends does not change. Both of us are still working for our company.

The high-frequency vacuum wood drying kiln was manufactured on November 16th, 2014.

It is the 6th generation high-frequency vacuum dryer with an air cylinder. Almost 10 years later, it is still making money for our customers. Although it is getting rusty (our HF wood dryer has been updated now), we exchanged the drying experience and skills of the Mninga wood. For the 2″-thickness Mninga, from 40–50% MC to 10–12% MC. Michael improved the drying time from 8–9 days to 5–6 days.

We talked about some maintenance work on the old HF vacuum machine. Making the service life another 3–5 years is no problem.

There have been many upgrades during the past 10 years, including hydraulic systems, anti-rust materials, and program upgrades that have made operation much easier. Michael said he is preparing a new factory and will find more space to add new high-frequency vacuum kilns from us.

The below video is part of Michael’s factory.
