Small wood drying kiln

This type of high frequency vacuum wood drying kiln is popular not only because of its small size but also because it has the same features as our other kilns.

Principle of Operation:

• The kiln uses wood as a medium, similar to a capacitor between two metal plates.
• When voltage is applied, an electric field is created between these plates.
• Water molecules between the electrodes are polarized by the alternating magnetic field, causing them to move at very high speeds.

Heat Generation:

• Collision and friction between the water molecules, occurring millions of times per second, generate heat rapidly.
• Unlike traditional steam kilns or ordinary vacuum kilns, which use hot air or steam to dry wood from surface to core, the high-frequency power supply causes the water moisture within the wood to heat itself.

Direct Heating:

• This method results in direct and uniform heating of the wood from surface to core.
• The continuous heating effect ensures the entire wood is heated uniformly.

Efficiency:

• Shuowei kilns is 8–10 times faster than traditional kilns due to this efficient, direct heating process.
